Hello Everyone,

I know it is extremely early in the year but, the May deadline will be here before we know it. I wanted to see if there is anyone out there applying for GCU specifically in Tucson but, also in phoenix. I want to hear your experiences with the application process and the new Hesi A2 exam. I am planing on taking my Hesi A2 at the end of March.

look forward to hearing from yall

How was your Patho. class? I am starting it on Monday at Rio. any tips?

I sent you a private message.. I just started Patho at Rio today.

I am also curious if there are any guys that are applying for the fall, especially the St. Joe's track?

I just finished my patho at Rio a few days ago. I enjoyed it quiet a bit. I had an essay and quiz due weekly for the 8 week course. The essays required some time since my professor was very critical of grammar, spelling and citations. I had become lazy with my writing and she whipped me back in shape! I finished with a high "A".

Anybody else applying for Banner Boswell?

Any one taking Patho NOT at Rio this summer?

I'm going to see if I can schedule my HESI for the 12th or 13th of May. Cutting it super close I know but those are the only week days I have off after this semester ends.

As long as your classes are completed by the start date August 25th... Than you're good.

Ok great... I was worried about maybe not getting accepted because my classes aren't finished..

I'm curious... Has anyone ever not gotten accepted into GCU?

I would double check with an adviser about your classes being completed before the deadline. I know i asked about retaking a class in the summer to better my GPA and my adviser said the classes have to be completed by May 15th, so retaking a class in the summer would not count.

But this may be diffrent because its a retake... I would just double check so your not caught off guard. :-)

Yeah that's true, good point. Just to be sure.. You should check with an advisor.

I won't be done with Patho until the end of May and they told me it's fine as long as it's completed before August..

But you wouldn't want that to be a factor of acceptance and should make them aware of what's going on now.

I was told that as long as I'm signed up for my classes for the summer it should be fine to take and when we turn in our application on the 15th of May that it just has to be listed as enrolled..I'm taking my nutrition class which is final class in June. I was just informed that I would have to get my final transcript into them before class starts in aug...unless the advisor are miss communicating to us

Hello everyone! I was wondering if you guys could give me some information about the GCU Tucson program? What pre reqs are required to apply? If I took the hesi a year ago through another college will they accept my scores from that? One last but important question....... How much does the program cost?

Thanks in advance for your help!
