GCU Fall 2015 **ALTERNATES**

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there were any other GCU alternates out there! Are any of you current GCU students? Transfers? Do any of you know what is going on with this? Like the rankings and placement potential. This really took me by surprise. I hope we can figure this out together. I don't want to get my hopes up like I have been with GCU.

Welp, I guess this settles the transfer question, although I do love that GCU's emails are always filtered into my Promotion section of gmail, guess it makes perfect sense! Let me know if anyone received something different than the below email, I got this about 20 minutes ago.

We regret to inform you that Grand Canyon University has filled all of its pre-licensure nursing seats at all locations and are unable to accommodate your admittance to the program at this time. We understand that a change in educational plans can be disruptive and we aim to be sensitive to your needs by delivering this notification at our earliest possible opportunity.

Nursing school admission is a highly competitive process and is confined by limited clinical spaces in the Arizona community. Please be aware this is not a rejection of your potential to be a successful nursing student. Remember your true calling, keep reapplying and consider taking this time to strengthen your GPA or HESI scores.

You will no longer be asked to participate in the orientation for the program. In this next semester, rebuild and push onward. We hope that you reapply to Grand Canyon University for the next term. Please be in contact with your Student Services Advisor for more information on your options at this time or to indicate your desire to reapply to the next offering.

I got the same email. Basically what I was expecting. NAU it is then. I will think long and hard about if I want to waste more money, time and energy on GCU.
