I was looking at the same schools, I got this off the BRN website. Not sure how much you're willing to commute, but you might also want to look at COC.

I went to GCC, and felt that I got a great education.
Both schools have recently had major changes- new heads of the department for both. I'm not sure how this will affect the programs or the pass rates for boards within the next couple of years though.
The way that the sheer number of applicants at ALL So Cal nursing schools has skyrocketed in the last couple of years, my advice would be to complete the prereq's for BOTH programs, apply to BOTH, and hope that you get into one of them.
Good luck to you

My friend applied to Glendale and Pasadena. She got accepted to Glendale (she was accepted by luck/lottery) about two months after applying & loves their program. I agree with the other poster, I would apply to both just to be sure. Best wishes
