GBC Bridging Sept 2020

Published

Hello,

Has anyone received acceptance letters for Sept 2020? if so,

When did you complete your Casper test? what was your GPA?

I did my Casper on Feb 11th and they have yet to grade it ? (i know the website said it takes up to 3 weeks)

any updates about admission from GBC?

also does anyone know what the minimum grade we have to maintain in the bridging program?

unfortunately, I did not get accepted. make sure you get at least 70% + on all courses.

Try again next Fall 2021 or try a different school.

just sucks to be held back an entire year

Checking stuview application summary most of it says not recieved and not met waiting on casper test resultsm, does anyone else have that problem? I have reached out and they say theyve recieved it but have yet to update the application... :$

I just completed my first year at GBC with a cGPA of 3.65. Does anyone know someone who got admitted with a similar GPA to me?

The bridging program I'm assuming...if so, what course average does the school require you to maintain...minimum 65%? And then you reapply for Trent or you meeting the bridging requirements get you automatically accepted to continue the RN studies at Trent.

I am looking to apply for the bridging program. Right now I'm in practical nursing program. cGPA ended up being 3.63 this year.

That is a great GPA. You can always raise with more of the electives and nursing courses. No doubt!

Hello,

That is great you have a good GPA! But you will have to write your Casper test as we all did. The applicant selection is based on GPA and Casper.

In regards to Trent:

1. All courses from S122 must be achieved with 70% and above. GPA needs to be above 3.0 as with S121.

2. You will need to apply to Trent after being successful in passing S122.

I hope this helps

Oh, I read the minimum average needs to 75%, with four specific courses above 70% and then all other courses <60%.

WOW! I have to reapply to Trent, could have just made it a collaborative, smh.

Maybe they ve changed the passing grades for Fall 2020. I will figure it out then.

It is collaborative, however; you need to apply to Trent.

Just wanted to update...I got my offer two days ago. Anyone else?
