Hello,

Has anyone received acceptance letters for Sept 2020? if so,

When did you complete your Casper test? what was your GPA?

I did my Casper on Feb 11th and they have yet to grade it ? (i know the website said it takes up to 3 weeks)

I haven't heard from them either. where is everyone checking the status? I'm just starting think I'm checking the wrong website haha.

Anyone else apply to bridging schools other than GBC? And have you heard from that school?

I’ve only applied to GBC because I graduated from their PN program. I’ve also just been checking stuview. The only new update was that they changed it to yes for receiving my Casper results.

I did S121.

I have been asked to provide international education in the midle of a Pandemic. I wonder if this is applicable if this was 20 years ago and I took G11/some G12 and I did RPN at GBC already.

I’m not sure why they’re asking for those requirements? I know they ask you to send every form of education with your application.

I graduated in 2018 for S121 PN and sent my transcript from York university as well. Haven’t had any communication from GBC since they asked me to do Casper. It’s to the boiling point of frustration over the waiting period. Hoping a decision will be released soon for everyone!

I got ya! I graduated back to Agust 2019.

You went to York they just sent your transcripts electronically.

I did my year of University 20 years ago in South America. I have in Canada for the past 17 years. In order for me to provide this, an official evaluation needs to be done by WES. The problem I have here is a Pandemic around the world. Therefore no university is functioning. It is torturing me how do they want people to get these docs.

Any insights?

I'm curious as to how they would know you had transcripts from 17 years ago? did you mention it to them? I imagine they are asking for them to see if they can academically qualify you into the program. But regardless, the 17-year-old transcript should not matter. Just like if I had prerequisites to go into the RN program and they rejected me because my "prerequisites were more than 8 years old" and they forced me to take pre-health - PN program and now bridging. It's an absolute scam.

Yes, I mentioned : ( and one of my good professors advised me to include what I have with it is my transcript translated by costi to English that I brought with me when I moved to CA 20 years ago. But WES won't receive from me and wants my back home university to send it in the middle of a pandemic when no universities are working physically

See I knew this was not right. I will see how this resolved. My performance back then is not who I am now. so it better not is the problem. There is always a Ministry of Education working promptly to help people to become educated

Just tell them you can't get your hands on them as no one from the university has messaged you back.

I just completed my first year at GBC with a cGPA of 3.65. Does anyone know someone who got admitted with a similar GPA to me?
