Gateway Fast Track LPN Spring 2021

I recently joined the waitlist for the LPN program at Maricopa/Gateway CC! I’m hoping for placement into Spring 2021, but I’m not sure if the wait is at 1 or 1.5 years right now. The waiting is hard, but I’m just really happy to be on the list and so excited! Is anyone else hoping for admission in 2021? I figured I would make a new thread for this year.

Anyway, I think I’m going to use this time to work on RN prereqs in case I want to bridge. What is everyone else doing to prepare?

Congrats! Did you take the CNA class at Gateway? If so, how was it? Just trying to gain some insight because I’m taking it next semester and I’m nervous LOL

I did not! I took my CNA class many years ago from a company that doesn't exist anymore. ? But I'm sure you'll be fine!

Hey, Congratulations.  It is a book bundle they want us to have for the entire year. I have a coworker who began  the program this past Fall. Here is a picture of the information she gave me.

Did you get any tips or advice re other resources like Saunders, nursing success books, prepU etc. 

Are you in the day program?

Hi, how did you like the evening cohort for your LPN courses? I'm considering doing evenings rather the days.
