Gaston College PN Program

Did anyone else apply to Gaston College for fall 2011? I spoke with admissions and was told that they had over 250 applicants for 80 spots. Also, I was originally told that letters were going out at the end of March. Now they are saying the end of April. I'm just hoping for the best! :)

Based on this year's schedule - 60 students in the morning and 20 in the evening. I applied for the evening program.

You know what I don't even recall putting nothing like that down. It really doesn't even matter as long as I get in.

I do like that the evening class is smaller.

Ha Ha!! I got a letter in the mail today from Gaston! I was like OMG!!!!! Of course it was from financial aid! lol!! :p

Now that it will be paid for, I hope that I am accepted lol :)

Yeah me too!! Then I noticed financial aid on the envelope. I was like dang they got me good :lol2: my heart was beating so fast when I seen Gaston College. We got this though our hard work will pay off!

Hi guys! I know many people who really wanted in the ADN program but applied to the LPN program too just in case they didn't get in. Most of them have already gotten in to the ADN program so the numbers for LPN should go down quite a bit.

Thanks dragonfly29! That gives me an extra boost of hope! I wish the best to everyone as we wait. I am currently on the waitlist at Queens for the ASN program. At this point, I will be thankful for either the LPN or ASN acceptance letter!! :redpinkhe:up:

That's great you gave yourself some options, as I have all my eggs in one basket. April is coming you guys we will know very soon!

Dragonfly did you apply to the PN program as well?

You will know it is the acceptance letter because it will come in a HUGE envelope which has your form for physicals, finger prints, and back ground checks.

Well i hope they send them out soon. I think the mail man is getting tired of meeting me everyday at the mail box.
