I am currently researching Galen School of Nursing, San Antonio TX campus, and was wondering if anyone can give me some info on how much of the tuition the GI Bill covers. Thanks in advance

The GI Bill isn't the same for every vet. It depends on how many years you served if you qualify for the 100% amount. It also depends on if the school is public or private. If it's a public school and you have 100% then the gi Bill will most likely cover all of the tuition. Another thing to consider is what type of gi Bill you apply for (the Montgomery or the post 9/11) for more info about the education benefits you should check out va.benefits.gov
Thank you for the info. I do have 100% benefits but the school is private. I have done some research and it looks as if A good portion should be covered. The way I read the charts, it seems that Texas private schools have a little bit better benefits tuition wise. I made an appointment with financial aid so hopefully they can answer my questions.

Last I researched, GI Bill will cover around 18k a year for a private institution. I would look into if your school is a Yellow Ribbon participant, and if so, how much additional tuition will be covered.
As the previous poster mentioned, hopefully your school is part of the yellow ribbon program. It should help with the gap between what the gi Bill won't cover in tuition. Whatever the school will pay for the yellow ribbon, the va will match (: good luck!
