Getting ready to take a big chunk of prereqs this summer. Here is what I have....

Summer A

College Algebra

A&P 1

Summer B

Elements of Chem (need for micro)

Humanities (undecided)

What do you think? Any suggestions welcome.

If you made it in this year, how many points did you have?

I am still not in Gainesville and I had my friend open my letter for me via skype so I have yet to see what all we actually need to have done and by what dates.

I know we have to set up a fingerprint app. and then go get those done in Gainesville and we also need a physical and shot records... this all must be turned in my the 28th right?

I saw the forms we need to fill out on the health science website... it looks like we have a lot to get done.

Also it sounds like everyone has to get re-certified for CPR since they can't expire before May 31, 2013... mine expires in like a year so does anyone know if I still have to take a 4 hour class or if there is a way to get re-certified that won't make me pull my hair out :)

Floridagirl,

I'm pretty sure the only things that MUST be submitted by 6/28 are the response form that we received along with our acceptance letter and the background screening that we have to do online. That form is for us to let them know that we wish to accept the invitation to the program and have our seat reserved for us. We do not need to have the fingerprinting done before the 28th, we just have to make an appointment before then. I'm not going in until 7/13. The appointments are reserved during certain days starting on the 28th and running through 7/14.

As far as the all the other stuff goes, the welcome letter online states that health forms, immunizations/titers, and CPR certs must be completed and submitted "prior to July 18th." Hope this clears things up for you. :) It's all pretty overwhelming.

Hi Emily- My name is Emmaline, but everyone always calls me Emily, that what my name sounds like, i guess, until I spell it. My friends call me Em. That sounds so exciting 'classmates' in nursing school.:D

Just got the acceptance letter today! I was so stressed when I didn't receive anything Tuesday, or Wednesday, or Thursday, or Friday...and I live in Gainesville proper! I'm glad the wait is over and I'm excited to start. (I had 83-86 points btw.) See yall in the fall!
