I'm excited about this change. I am a Georgia resident. Where in GA are you located? How many test do you have remaining?
I am in Powder Springs GA/
I finished two yrs ago but i have been actively pushing this for my fellow students. It still has to be signed by the governer.. fingers crossed

Okay gnjoy:
I've read the bill but give it to me in laymen's terms; by your excitement I know this must be something very good. I only have the CPNE left and I've submitted all of the documentation; just waiting on a date.

well basically it cuts the preceptorship for non lpn's ,paramedics and hospitalman with less than 1 yrs experience from 700 hrs to 350
and those with one year experience dont have to do anything.
still waiting on the bill to be signed into law :) keep your fingers crossed
I'm praying for it as well as have my fingers and toes crossed. If it does pass that means no preceptorship for me. It's hard not to get prematurely excited though.
So because I had 5 years of paramedic experience when I finished EC (not to mention I have nearly 5,000 hours as an RN!), I wouldn't have to do a preceptorship if I wanted to endorse my license into Georgia?
This is cool ... I'm actually moving to Georgia, but with the Army, who recognizes EC.
