The giving report meme always gets me.

When I was in nursing school and as a new nurse I'd be giving a ridiculously detailed report, down to the patient's genetic make-up. Now it's like, "yeah this pt took their meds, they're not dead, they good. let me know if you have questions." bahahaha!

Having retired over 4 1/2 years ago after a 40+ year career, I visit all nurses now and again which helps me remember why I DO NOT miss being a nurse.
