We had a tornado warning today. All schools to shelter in place. Not too bad at my school, preschool kids were scared but manageable.
I got an email from one of the nurses at one or our high schools- they had over 40 kids sheltering in their health office, many kids couldn't be served lunch because the tornado warning was over the lunch period and the food had sat out past the safe amount of time, an alarm wouldn't shut off because it needs to be reset by the alarm company, and some seniors released chickens in the school today as a senior prank! C'mon May 31st!

My husband's friend once got them tickets to a concert for being the first person to bring a live duck to the mall where the radio DJs were broadcasting. Apparently they didn't care about their morning college classes and the grandparents raised ducks.
Ha! You guys crack me up! Thanks!
