FSW SPRING 2020

Published

Hello!!

I'm creating this forum to keep in touch with upcoming nursing students interested in applying to the FSW 2020 nursing program. How many of you have taken the TEAS and are ready to apply?

I hope this year the offer the ANEW program for spring 2020 since last year they did not take any applications for the ANEW program.

I'm looking forward on hearing from other future students...

Thanks! I’ve seen it on website. Thought maybe someone will have more details on it.

Hey, If you look back I’m the chat there’s a screenshot of an email that I received from an assistant in the nursing program. Anything else I guess we will find out at orientation.

Awesome! I found it! Thank you so much! It made it more clear for me )

I just found out that FSW will be having their first white coat ceremony. Not sure of any details. This is exciting.

Hello everybody!

I got the initial acceptance email for Spring 2020 (Charlotte traditional) and I'm feeling overwhelmed by what little information I read for the phase II requirements. Does castlebranch automatically link to FSW when we order the package and complete the items listed or does our account have to be linked to an administrator? I'm confused and nervous about not completing and submitting everything on time.

First off congratulations! Second you follow the steps from the letter and enter the code to purchase castle branch. Once that’s done you can schedule your drug test, complete info for your background check and then schedule your fingerprints. You will also go in and indicate once you’ve completed each step. FSW will have access the review all the information gathered by castle branch once it’s all compiled. I hope this info helps.

Thank you so much and congratulations to you too! I followed the castlebranch instructions and scheduled the drug test and fingerprints as soon as I could. I'm also confused about where to go for the CPR/AED certification. I tried calling for information before being accepted about whether the Charlotte campus offers a class for it or not. I'm not sure if that information will be in the acceptance packet.

Hi! I am not sure of the details if and when your campus will offer the BLS (Basic Life Support Provider Certification Course); however, I did a quick search and found several locations in Collier and Lee that are supported by the American Heart Association and was able to complete the course. I hope this helps.

I would appreciate this as well

Hello,

It doesn't matter where you go for the training as long as it is supported by the American Heart Association. The location in Naples is called "Collier CPR & Safety Training," and the area in Fort Myers is called "In Pulse CPR."

FYI: I did not research for the Port Charlotte area.

I hope this helps.

I did. I would wait until Monday to see if they will respond.

I still haven’t received a reply about accepting my seat.

What did the return email about accepting seat say?
