  1. So the $799 Lippincott Coursepoint for Nursing Concepts v3 Standard on the Lippincott direct website for Spring 2020 FSW students is the exact same bundle as the Custom labeled $999 bookstore bundle? I already purchased the discounted Standard bundle from the Lippincott direct website (which came to $856.04 with tax) and I'm confused about activation. If I activate the bundle will it start shaving time off of the 36 months access? Is it better to activate it now to have access to the books?
  2. Thank you! Charlotte traditional.
  3. Has anyone at Charlotte or the other campuses purchased the ATI package/ATI Nursing Education from the bookstore yet? I haven't purchased it yet and I don't know how much it will cost but I read it is in an envelope. Do we take the un-opened envelope to the nursing office before class begins or do we bring it to class on the first day? Also, has anyone purchased the Lippincott Coursepoint for Nursing Concepts v3 from the discounted website for $799 instead of from the bookstore for $999? Do we have to wait for shipping if we purchase from Lippincott? I also don't know if we're required to have specific stethoscopes/penlights/scissors. On the Phase IV packet it says to wait until class to discuss the stethoscope with our instructor, but I'm at least hoping to get the penlight/(bandage?)scissors from Amazon. I want to wait until orientation to find out more, but that's so close to the first day of class.
  4. Thank you! I'm at Charlotte too and I have the feeling things move a tiny bit slower, but that's understandable since it isn't as large as the Lee campus. I called the Lee campus and got an update about where my paperwork wound up. They received stuff on the 27th before Thanksgiving and they were working on clearing the next batch. My major finally changed today!
  5. I just called the office of registrar and they said they hadn't received my Change of Student Data form. Currently, I can't get in touch with the instructional assistant that our Phase IV instructions told us to email that form to. I don't know if I should be worried or not.
  6. Has anybody not had their major change yet? I see that some seats have been filled for some courses when I look at class registration which means some people have had the major added. Did anyone have the major added without having all of the immunization/health forms complete on Castlebranch? Do we have to complete all castlebranch requirements before they add the major?
  7. Okay. I'll try not to worry too much. I already knew I was going to have to complete my Varicella series if the titers weren't positive, and I did notice the Hep B declination form. I do want to complete the Hep B series again since my titers came out negative, but I'm going to try and call the school first thing Monday to figure out if I should turn in the declination form.
  8. I just found out my Hepatitis B titers came out negative and I'm extremely worried. I've had the complete series of vaccines in the past and I don't know what I have to do now. I know we need to have the series and prove positive titers for Hep B but I don't know if I can get everything done before December 12. I also discovered my Varicella titers are equivocal and I've only had one vaccine in the series. Will this have a major impact on starting class/clinicals? It's the weekend and I can't call anybody to find answers.
  9. Has anybody at Charlotte gotten the online colloquium invite yet? I know it can take up to 5 days for our primary major to change, but has anybody heard anything yet?
  10. Has anybody in the Charlotte area gotten or ordered their scrubs yet from the store listed? If so, is it easy to have the store order the ones we need and send them to be embroidered if they didn't have the correct size available? I was also wondering if it's cheaper to get the polo shirt and have it embroidered from them compared to buying it from the bookstore. I couldn't find the nursing logo polo on the online book store.
  11. I'm confused about the wording for some of the vaccinations and titers requirements. If we have documentation of our completed vaccinations for MMR and Varicella, do we still have to provide documentation of positive titers showing immunity for those two? It says for Hep B we need the series of vaccinations AND the Hep B titer. So is the only required titer for Hep B? Should we just get all of the titers completed to be safe?
  12. I've been trying to contact somebody about that. It seems like some information was whited out on it?
  13. Does anybody's acceptance form contain an error about the location they're attending? Mine says I'm attending the Collier campus but I'm not.
  14. Never mind, I just got the packet!
  15. Check your email guys! I literally just got it. edit- this was meant for Spring 2020 forum
