Hello!!
I'm creating this forum to keep in touch with upcoming nursing students interested in applying to the FSW 2020 nursing program. How many of you have taken the TEAS and are ready to apply?
I hope this year the offer the ANEW program for spring 2020 since last year they did not take any applications for the ANEW program.
I'm looking forward on hearing from other future students...
Hi Oaktree,
Don't stress much. You do have an option to sign the declination on school form or you can begin the process and submit where you are in the series and castlebranch will provide an alert to complete the series and titer.
For varicella if it is equivocal, a new alert will be created for you to receive one booster vaccine. This is from castlebranch.
If you are in the process of these vaccines it should not affect you as you are working on it.
Don't stress and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I've had the complete series of vaccines in the past and I don't know what I have to do now. I know we need to have the series and prove positive titers for Hep B but I don't know if I can get everything done before December 12. I also discovered my Varicella titers are equivocal and I've only had one vaccine in the series. Will this have a major impact on starting class/clinicals? It's the weekend and I can't call anybody to find answers.
I am not sure, but if you aren’t able to meet the deadline with positive titers can’t you still submit the declination form instead for the Hep B requirement?

Okay. I'll try not to worry too much. I already knew I was going to have to complete my Varicella series if the titers weren't positive, and I did notice the Hep B declination form. I do want to complete the Hep B series again since my titers came out negative, but I'm going to try and call the school first thing Monday to figure out if I should turn in the declination form.
