It's a bit early, I know. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those looking down the road planning to apply to FSW this fall for the spring 2018 program start..
I'm planning on applying to the Charlotte campus for the Evening/Weekend (ANEW) schedule format.
What campus are you planning on applying to?
What classes are you trying to finish up before applying in Sept/Oct?
What program schedule format will you be choosing (Daytime or evening/weekend)?
Did you take the TEAS VI exam and how did you do?
I look forward to the discussion over the next few months!!
DOes books come with the ATI Carp package? I seen a set of ATI books for sale online just was wondering before I purchase them. Also, with you'll revised books did new codes come too?
Yes, The book package came with the ATI access code. We didn't need to purchase any hard copy ATI books.
The revised books (3 volumes) that we had replaced from Pearson do come with online access codes as well. But I never accessed any of my Pearson texts online during the first semester, personally.
Spring students i have another question. What did you wear your first day of class? & also what did you take?
For the ANEW program we wore khakis, and our collared FSW nursing shirts to our fist class, which was a SIM lab. They will give you instructions in your orientation regarding what you should wear and when. We didn't bring/need any of our books on our first day. Just a pen to sign a LOT of paperwork.
I meant did you take any supplies. Did you need anything besides paper lol. & Ms. Anna your traditional student correct? 3 more weeks till second semester for you'll and 1st semester for us. YIKES lol ..
Hi, we wore Khakis & polos. I'm sorry if I misread, but what do you mean by what did we take?
Thank you, when you say orientation you're meaning the orientation we did online? Are you ready for second semester weiny

Oh no supplies. Just bring pen, paper & your lunch. It's honestly like orientation, because they talk the entire time. They also give you a chance to meet your classmates. Yes, I'm in the traditional program. The beginning isn't too bad... it's all about time management & getting the hang of the style of questions on the test.

Sorry about that. I didn't see that you sent me a PM. I am one of the few people who aren't on Facebook haha.
In addition to the supplies they gave us we were asked to buy a "closed case" clipboard for clinicals. Many of the students got the foldable kind which Seem to be better because you can fit them in your pocket. You also will need white shoes but I'm sure you already knew that. Thats it, if memory serves correctly..
