FSW Spring 2018

Published

It's a bit early, I know. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those looking down the road planning to apply to FSW this fall for the spring 2018 program start..

I'm planning on applying to the Charlotte campus for the Evening/Weekend (ANEW) schedule format.

What campus are you planning on applying to?

What classes are you trying to finish up before applying in Sept/Oct?

What program schedule format will you be choosing (Daytime or evening/weekend)?

Did you take the TEAS VI exam and how did you do?

I look forward to the discussion over the next few months!!

Yes! Even though fall semester just ended, I'm so ready!!

Is anyone else overly anxious & excited to start nursing school :nailbiting:

Sooo nervous and ready. This is going to be a huge adjustment. Very excited but also scared to death lol

I've been doing my research on how to prepare, but I think I'm over thinking. I believe we'll be fine :)

Oooh ya! We've all been hammering through our pre-reqs waiting for this moment. Naturally, I can't help but feel anxious and a little nervous to do well. At 32 years of age I'm mostly excited to establish myself in a career that I am truly interested in. I'm ready to roll!!

Is anyone purchasing the Davis Drug Guide? I've been YouTube binging and a lot of students carry these during their clinicals...?

I also decided to pick one up..

Which edition of the Davis did your purchase?

Does anyone happen to have the ebook .pdf version of the textbooks? "Nursing: a concept-based.."

Which edition of the Davis did your purchase?

I didn't buy it yet but I was planning on getting the 15th edition since its the most recent edition available. I see that the 16th edition can be pre-ordered but it wont be available until June 2018, and it costs twice as much..

Has anyone finished their castlebranch clinical requirements? If so, what documents do we have to attatch to each section? Like for each shot that we have to take? Or do we just upload the document for the physical examination because all the shots are on there for the doctor to fill out...

It's setup for an answer per each shot. To be safe, I would just re upload the document for each section.

Yes, I have completed mine. As NuresinprogressJW suggested, I'm pretty sure you have to upload the physical document for each vaccine/titre (that's what I did). For the physical examination you just download, fill out, and upload the 2 page document. I just wrote in the dates that I received each vaccine/titre on that document and it got accepted.

Has anyone visited the bookstore at Lee to purchase the books recently? My status still says back-ordered.
