It's a bit early, I know. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those looking down the road planning to apply to FSW this fall for the spring 2018 program start..
I'm planning on applying to the Charlotte campus for the Evening/Weekend (ANEW) schedule format.
What campus are you planning on applying to?
What classes are you trying to finish up before applying in Sept/Oct?
What program schedule format will you be choosing (Daytime or evening/weekend)?
Did you take the TEAS VI exam and how did you do?
I look forward to the discussion over the next few months!!
I did because of timing conflict. So I changed it to the other pharmacology option. I see now it's because they're considered blended classes and actually have a "class time".
I had issues with the time for the practicum. One is at 8:30-11:30am (what I wanted) and the other is at 12:20-3:20pm. Pharmacology is from 9:30-11:20am. I chose the 12:20 class, but maybe the times are a mixed up... either way I'm grateful to be in the program lol
Did anyone choose CRN 23953? I thought it supposes to be Gulf Coast Medical Hospital in Fort Myers, but in student detail schedule, it shows "VARIOUS CHARLOTTE CNTY HOSP" instead. Do you guys know why? Thank you!
I registered for 24495 Which is Lee Memorial and my student detail schedule says the same thing. Not sure why.

I registered for the same clinical and I noticed that too. I'm assuming it's a misprint.
I registered for clinical at GC originally just because it's a nicer, newer hospital and I know what to expect. Then I texted a cousin who has done clinical Lee Memorial, 5th floor and asked her what her experience was. She suggested that I give LM a second thought because she learned so much during clinical on the 5th floor and loved the experience.
I have done clinicals at GC on the 4th floor already (med/surg) so I think I'm going to switch to LM to get a new experience. It's also closer for me...

Ok cool, thanks for the input. I was just curious. I don't blame you for wanting to make new experiences. It will certainly make you more marketable as a nurse down the road.
I'm at collier for traditional... my clinicals options were all Charlotte county hospitals... do we know if this is an error or should I prepare myself for an hour plus drive to clinicals...
I think I'm done w pre reqs, however I took sociology and now I see the psychology must be finished..? Anyone know anything about this?
