FSW Spring 2018

Published

It's a bit early, I know. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those looking down the road planning to apply to FSW this fall for the spring 2018 program start..

I'm planning on applying to the Charlotte campus for the Evening/Weekend (ANEW) schedule format.

What campus are you planning on applying to?

What classes are you trying to finish up before applying in Sept/Oct?

What program schedule format will you be choosing (Daytime or evening/weekend)?

Did you take the TEAS VI exam and how did you do?

I look forward to the discussion over the next few months!!

@weiny4089 Thank you. I'm ordering on Monday, but I'm bringing my credit card just in case lol. I think I'm getting the lab coat.

Does anyone know if pharmacology is online for the traditional program at Lee? It says class will be held on Thursday, but Health & Wellness practicum is also held on Thursday.

I'm also debating on having clinical on Monday vs Friday

I noticed the same thing about the Pharm classes. I don't think the day matters for those classes since it's an online class (for you traditional students as well I believe). But it would be worth asking about ahead of time.

Hey guys,

Joining in a little late, but I'll be in the traditional program at the Collier campus. From the advisors I've spoken to, both the ANEW and traditional programs have their pharmacology classes online. When we have tests for that class, they will be taken on campus.

Cool, thanks for confirming that. And welcome to the discussion. Better late than never ;)

I just called the office responsible for administering the Bucs ID card. He said that we can't get a card until we are actually registered for a class. Then all we need to show them is our photo ID and perhaps give them our student number.

Yeah they said they didn't think they could till i was registered for classes but they searched my name and saw i was in the system i guess and printed out my card for me and everything. I was already on campus to submit stuff to Chris so i went to see if they'd do it.

Ok so I called and spoke to the same guy and he said that usually you need to register for a class first but "since I'm in the system" then I would be able to get one...Long story short, disregard what I originally said. We can get them..;)

Chris just got back to me about the lab coats. He said they are required since they are necessary at certain clinical sites, and they do need to be embroidered also.

Damn was hoping to avoid paying for it but okay thanks for clarifying that.

Are you talking about new big cards? If we already have one is that fine?? Also does anyone know what to put for the term and year for the AA in general studies? Do we put the term we began this school or spring 2018? Thanks!

Ya if you already have one I think that's fine. Our paper says they need the photo of us from the card for the badge for clinicals. Im a transfer student so i dont have one yet..
