FSW spring 2017

Published

Anybody applying for the nursing program at FSW for the spring in 2017? I plan to take my TEAS sometime August or September, does anyone know what the passing score is? And have you finished all your prerequisites and general ed? The only prereqs I have left to do is A&P2, nutrition, and micro. But still have all the general eds left to do. But you don't have to have all the general eds finished before applying right? Sorry, I'm new at this.

I have a friend that started this semester and she said we need the to buy the $1000 package and their is an ati code for $600 and everything will last us the whole 2 yrs.

Omg really? So we have no choice then on renting them? And is it the 1000 plus the 600 ati code?

Yes $1600 total. She said she bought some of the books online (used) and saved about $250

Oh wow. Well at least we can buy some used ones so that's a good option. Any little money I can save will definetly help.

She said the ati code used to be included in the tuition but this semester was the first time it wasn't. The professors seemed suprised that it was separate from tuition. I'm hoping this semester they include it in the tuition again.

Hopefully. Has your friend mentioned how she likes the program so far?

She likes it. They go once a week to a nursing home to do clinicals. It's 8 hours and they help take care of the patients. Her pharmacology class was online and she felt she wasn't learning enough. Looks like they changed it for Spring to on campus.

That's good to know. By any chance do you know if she got to pick which day to go to clinicals?

If you look up the nursing classes it's the health and wellness clinical. I don't know that campus you are at but lee is on mondays.

Do you guys received any emails from the school already?? getting impatient here:whistling:

Other than a "thank you" for sending in my video, no lol

I guess we'll find out tomorrow...stay positive
