Hi everyone! This might be soon but I was wondering if anyone was gearing up to apply to the fall 2017 nursing program. I wanted to know what classes everyone has left and maybe we can study for the teas together! We can also boost each other up to make sure we all can get in! Good luck! Can't wait to hear from everyone!
Hello, would have posted earlier but couldn't due to account issues. Anyways, I have an 80.7 TEAS and a 4.0 with all prereqs done which puts me at an even 80 on the admissions tally. I'm not so nervous about getting into the program alone, but more nervous about getting the Lee Campus. I'm used to the Lee Campus, its closer, and does clinicals where I work, Lee Memorial. I'm sure we'll hear back within a week or two, as they tell us within four weeks, but most of the time it is way before that.
Im nervous about the Lee campus too. I live only 10 mins away so I would hate if I have to drive all the way to Naples or Port Charlotte.
Mar1987,Thanks for getting back to me. Has your instructor given you guys a rough estimate as to how much the whole program will cost from the beginning to the end?
Sorry if this was already discussed....
I don't have a number from them but from when I did the math myself I was looking at about $10K. Luckily, its not something you have to pay for upfront. The school has lots of resources to help you fund the classes and books so don't get too hung up on costs

Did your calculation of $10k include the pre-requisite classes/books? Or is that $10k cost just for the classes to complete the 42 credits in the ASN program?
Sorry for all of the questions!! I like to be prepared (especially with a baby on the way)
I have seen them on other forums hear back within 2 weeks, but it is usually within 3 weeks and hardly ever 4 weeks. Someone else anticipated by the end of next Friday, and I agree. Are you looking for the Lee Campus or? 74 points is pretty competitive overall, and not too bad for the Lee Campus as well.
Oh wow that's quick!! Now I'm super nervous!! Lol! I applied for Lee, and Collier second and said that Charlotte is not an option. It's almost an hour from my house one way (not in season), and I have a working spouse and 2 young children. With clinicals likely being close to the campus as well, I figured it would be too far away to commute, especially if there were ever an emergency.
