FSW Fall 2015

Published

Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.

Who is joining me next fall in nursing?

I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. :arghh: lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.

I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.

Anybody knows affordable place for physical and vaccines? Tx

I cant get the physical for nursing at my PCP so I have to look elsewhere. I called outpatient Employee Health offices at LMHS and they want too much for each titer. I have insurance, so my next guess is the health dept. I will let you know.

Well the health dept is almost the same as LMHS so I think I will go there instead and skip the health dept. I will see. If someone finds it cheap vaccines, please let me know.

I registered BLS class this wed in cape coral because the provided one was why too far from me. Lol if anyone needs to still register, let me know I can provide details.

FSW Nursing program gets 25% off at Hamilton's! The manager also said it takes about 2-3 weeks processing. Just wanted to let everyone know who didn't that we get the special pricing!

give me your email I'll send you copy

Can you send it to me too please? [email protected] Thanks!

How much are the vaccines and titers there? The health dept near me is $25 per titer and the hep A & B are $60 each :(

The lady at lee health dept didnt mention $25/titer. Im going to call again tom.

I asked staff assistant but yet to recieve a response. Do we still need titer if we have our immunization record? I just don't understand why I have to pay for a blood titer if I have had vaccines before. I know for safety but still we should be able to have a choice. Just venting. Lol

just did it

Did anyone get anymore information about the Compliance Tracker?

I know it's a lot, but they have to play it safe. Vent away. I'm still excited over the discount on clinical scrubs!

Mamiluv, would you mind forwarding to me at [email protected]?
