FSW Fall 2015

Published

Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.

Who is joining me next fall in nursing?

I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. :arghh: lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.

I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.

I'm at work right now so I can't really check myself, but do you know if the books are cheap to buy? Used maybe? I'm thinking that I would want to keep all the nursing textbooks in case I have to refer back to something later.

I was looking at uniform sheet again. Are we allowed to have lab coats? In the past, they have had lab coats. I am always cold so I wasn't even going to have the option of not buying one but now I don't see it in the list. I guess I will have to email them. I hope they are still allowed.

They should be e-mailing us a FSW Nursing handbook. It's in there that we can have lab coats and which shoulder sleeve the schools logo patch goes on.

I was thinking on holding back the questions until we receive the the handbook and orientation. I'm sure they'll clear up many of the questions we have. (Hopefully) if not, I will then email the department. Packet seriously wasn't very clear though.

Eaxctly. Many things were unclear. You're right we should wait and read everything first.

Just double checking, there are only 3 forms that are due on the 9th riiiight? í ½í¸•
