FSW Fall 2015

Published

Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.

Who is joining me next fall in nursing?

I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. :arghh: lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.

I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.

I cant believe today has come. I have been waiting for today for over a year. Now I pray I get in.

Are they going email us or call us?

Will they email us if we dont get accepted?

I've been wondering the same thing! I think (the way it sounds from previous semesters) they only call/email you if you get in.

Also, I'm not sure if they email or call. I think it was different from person to person. Hopefully an email because if I get in I'm going to seriously have to read it over and over and over! It's not gonna feel real! :x3:

Yeah hopefully email. I check my phone often but dont always have it near and I never hear calls or perhaps I don't want to talk on phone. So email would be great.

Well when I was turning in my application the lady told me it would be by email :) & lee days for me hopefully!

I applied for Lee night program with 82 points. When I emailed them earlier in the semester the lady told me that some years the points only go into the 80's and other years it gets down into the 60's or 70's. Here's hoping that they notify us within two weeks because I don't know if I can handle four weeks of this stress!!! Good Luck everyone!!!

Those are good points! Thanks for letting us know. I hope we don't have to wait 4 weeks either...that would be brutal lol What's the email address of the person you contacted at lee?

Jgosch, go to nursing program page and in bottom is the lee email to contact them.

I hope we dont wait 4 weeks, but looking at all past threads, most knew within two weeks. However, even two weeks is going to go very, very slow. I have been keeping myself busy with family, but I cant help thinking about if I am accepted or not.

Hopefully fingers crossed for you as well.

I hear ya. Its going to be a long week. However, I am already convincing myself I didn't get accepted. The chances are slim but there's always that once chance of hope for me. So, I'm not going to stress about it. If I get accepted, I will be happiest woman alive if not then I will reapply.
