Got mybdrug screen paper at north campus today. Financial aid is done too. Ready for all this to be done!!

Hey Im giving worksource a try to see if I get anything. What did they say when you went and talked to them? I also signed up for the CPR class at St. Vincents on March 22, so Ill see you there!

I have been just talking to them over the phone, because everything is online now, thee survey the application the employ fl registration and resume builder. After you do all that you wait til they are done processing your app and they will call you and schedule you an appointment to meet up and discuss you WIA scholarship. I did mine wednesday and she said they will most likely call by this coming tuesday. How far along are you in this process of hell lol Did anyone get terribly confused by the e signing of the background check? And then for work history it didn't specify which they wanted and then you could onl put one so of course i put my most recent but that doesn't qualify as work "history" to me! gahh......

Yeah I filled out the WIA application on Tuesday and everything and they told me I would hear back in 72 hours. I havent heard anything yet and I called them on Friday and they can't find my application, awesome! Did you go to the worksource office and talk to them first? Im wondering if that would be better? I did the fingerprinting at the UPS on old baymeadows rd, it took like 5 minutes and I went ahead and got my passport photo to. They give a discount to FSCJ students. The photo is only 7.99+tax instead of 12.99. Also did the background check and was confused about the employment thing because I dont work anymore, so I just put my most recent employer. All I have left to get done is the drug screen, titters and physical which ill do on monday and the CPR which Ill get on tuesday! yay can't wait to have this done! My daughters 1st birthday is next week and I have a test in alegebra, so im almost overwhelmed!

Your schedule sounds just like mine...clinic on Monday and CPR on Tuesday! I was so confused by the employment thing online too...especially the resume part. Goodness!

I think a facebook page is a great idea! I also have a quick question. I know it was asked earlier but I don't think anyone answered it. Do we need to fax the release form for the background check? Thanks for your help :)

Lwalk115, I didn't fax it. I believe the fax was for them to be able to release the results to FSCJ, but when you went further into the process it let you e-sign.
