Hello, everyone!
Since no one has started a Spring 2015 for FSCJ Nursing, I thought I would start it. I plan on applying the beginning of September I will take the exam in august. I'm very nervous of course. I have a preq gpa of 2.87 but I have an overall gpa of 3.23. Has anyone heard that FSCJ has changed their entrance exam to the HESI A2? Anyone applying to FSCJ hoping to get accepted for the spring?
Did you get in? What is your score?
I have checked my mail twice already and nothing at all, not even junk, which is unusual. But I really have no idea when my mailman comes. I have to go out later when my husband gets home so I'll drive up there and check it again just to be sure.
My score is 180.6

I am afraid our points are lower than everybody elses.
There is some really helpful stuff on there. I even saw a board recently that was nothing but white shoes ideal for nursing students. Sounds crazy but I found it helpful.
Thanks for letting me know. I am going to check it out. I am trying to gather as many resources I can to help with this program.

Yes they are but I am still hopeful. I was told that for every 144 seats to be filled there are anywhere from 300-500 applicants. That's a lot of people that don't get accepted. Plus there are plenty of people who aren't on this discussion forum.
This is my plan of action: if I don't get in this semester, retake the HESI and apply for summer. If I still don't get in, apply to Lpn program then LPN to RN bridge program. And then i plan to eventually get my bachelors and maybe masters. It will take longer, yes but sh*t happens. You just got to roll with the punches. :)

If my husband doesnt get in he will start at keiser in january. He is taking his last pre req for keiser right now just in case he doesnt get in at fscj. Keiser is way more expensive but he doesnt wanna waste anymore time. I am staying positive tho. I almost wanna check my neighbour box who gets out mail sometimes. Lol.

Yea, thats what i have done. I got my LPN at fscj. If i dont get in i will apply for the bridge in 2015 and the traditional summer and fall. I make pretty decent money as a LPN.
Congrats again to all who have and will recieve acceptance letters.
Does any one know the cheapest place to get the physical and tithers done?
Has the FB page been created yet? I can create one if not. I would eventually need to pass the administrative rights to someone else whose better at it. Let me know.
