FSCJ Nursing-Summer 2015

I haven't seen any thread for Summer 2015 Nursing Program for FSCJ, so I decided to create this one. There has been slight changes made to the program and to the prerequisite requirements.

Is anyone else planning to apply for the program? Any tips?

Words of encouragement?

Have you taken the HESI?

Is this your first time shooting to the program?

Thank you and yes very excited!! The books that I got are the Trivium test prep for HESI A2 study guide 2015 and Trivium HESI A2 flash cards(book). I scored 90% or higher on each section. I felt these books helped a lot. I bought them in Amazon.

Did anyone that didn't get accepted for Spring 2015 go to the Information Session? I wasn't able to go, could you please tell me any information that is specific for those trying for Summer 2015? Thank you!

I just finish my HESI with a cumulative score: 82% - does anyone know what a good HESI score is, with the change on program (from NAT to HESI)?

There really isn't a "good score" per say. It's a point system so the better you do on the test the higher the points you will receive. But I don't think 82% is bad. :)

Application deadline for Summer 2015 is December 1, 2014 to February 1, 2015. ?

Application deadline for Summer 2015 is December 1, 2014 to February 1, 2015. 

So im a bit confused....i copied this from FSCJ website:

  • Fall Term deadline - April 1
  • Spring Term deadline - August 1
  • Summer Term deadline - December 1

Deadline, to me - means the last day, am i right? So the summer deadline was Dec. 1 - where did you find the information fort the dates 12-1 to 2-1? Thanks for ur help!

Oh, and i copied that from the Aug 20147-Aug 2015 catalog (current)

The 2013-2014 catalog (archived) says Feb 1 was the previous deadline.

Yes, there are conflicting dates all over the place - including even in the application, lol. I contacted Cheryl James via email back in September. This is directly from her email:

Application deadline for Summer 2015 is December 1, 2014 to February 1, 2015.
