FSCJ Nursing - Spring 2016

Published

Hello!

I haven't seen a thread for FSCJ Spring 2016, so I thought I'd start one. Who all is planning on applying for this term start? If anyone is in the program already, any advice??

Look forward to chatting with you all. :)

I can send you one in the morning when I get to work. If anyone needs one just shoot me an email. [email protected].

Hi guys, I am planning on taking the HESI sometime this month and try to get into spring 2016. Can someone please send me an email of the packet to [email protected]. Thanks guys!

For those of you that have taken the HESI, what sections do they test you on? I read that I don't need to study much of chemistry or physics. I am just making sure.

Thanks!

Casey

Hey Casey,

I took the HesiA2 Friday and for Hesi A2 RN it only covers, Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, Basic Math, Reading Comp, & Learning Styles. You have 4 hours to complete all sections.

Thank you! I am supposed to be taking the test this month some time. How did you do on it if you don't mind me asking?

Casey

Hey Casey,

my overall score was 80%. My score for biology was 60% and that's what killed my overall. Definetly study up on taxonomy. I just study the basics for it and a lot of my questions were pretty detailed.good luck!

I know this is early to be asking this but who all will be requesting days and who will be requesting nights/weekends?

I know this is late but I'm going to be requesting nights

I just took the HESI about a month ago and honestly it wasn't that bad half of the anatomy section was more on biology it was a lot of cell structure and function for me

got a 92% overall

Where is everyone at with the point system? Does anyone know how they schedule you for days, nights, or weekends?

Overall points I have 209 I think still in Micro right now though

209 without Micro? That's awesome! Right now I'm at 211.5 including my Hesi A2 & all my pre reqs.

211.5 is really high, very nice. I wonder if the night classes are all extended hrs like my night prereqs were

I believe the night classes are from 6pm-10pm and clinicals are from 7am-7pm on weekends.
