Has anyone received an acceptance packet in the mail? I was out of town last week and it's possible my husband could have dashed it in the bin....Over on the FSCJ fall 2015 RN thread they are getting acceptance packets in the mail. Any LPNers gotten news either way yet? Thanks in advance.
Just FYI I received my acceptance letter yesterday after I posted this. It was in the mailbox when I got home. Just wanted to update in case anyone else was looking for answers/info. Good luck to everyone!!

Hi! Can you tell me what's the prerequisite for the lpn? Am thinking about going to fscj
@Nan-nan....a GED or high school diploma and you must take the HESI A2 exam at FSCJ. Rank is based on a point system that uses your GED score or college credits and you HESI score for a total. Highest ranking students are accepted. I believe experience gets you points too but don't quote me on that. You'll need CPR once your accepted but not a requirement to apply. The HESI is moderately easy, but I also have all of the RN prerequisites satisfied and a 4.0 GPA so it was easy for me. I've heard others say it was difficult, especially the science part. Hope that helps. Just do it!!!!
Thanks!

I received my acceptance letter on Saturday June 13. Im so excited.....I will start tackling some items starting next week. I need t figure out where i can go to get a Physical done in addition to my immunizations. Any suggestions ladies? Looking forward to meeting yall at Orientation in July!
Congratulations Cartce1!!! Looking forward to meeting you! Walgreens has "minute Clinics", they may have reasonable rates, I would call them and some of the private emergency clinics around town they may have good offers going. I went to one on San Pablo and Atlantic Blvd. (can't remember the name but google maps!) late last year for a pre-op EKG they only charged me $50. I have Florida Blue so I will be seeing my primary. Hope you find a reasonable solution, feel free to share with the rest of us. Congrats again!
That was Doctors express urgent care where I had the $50 EKG

I also received my acceptance letter on Saturday the 13th. Called to accept but had some questions as I will be using the GI Bill. Anyone else using the GI Bill?
