I scanned the threads and didn't see one for this class set up yet. I'm applying at the end of the semester. Anyone else?
Nothing here for hubby either. Do you receive an email as well for either acceptance or denial? Last time he applied he received Nothing! He went in and they said, "Well, there's no letter here for you (in a stack of undeliverable mail) it must have got lost in the mail."
Can't wait to hear either way......there must be others. Why would only 1 go out?!
Does anyone know what is the highest possible score that you can make on just the science part of the NAT?
One more thing, does the program take the highest of the humanities you've taken? Because I think they accepted (intro. to religion which I made a B in) instead of taking Humanities of the 15 to 20th centuries where I made an A.
Thank you, I'm hoping for the best too, but just not trying to get my hopes up. I applied with 186.96 :/ The thing that messed up my points was definitely the science part on the NAT..everything else I did really well in..I just found there was very little time to complete the science portion and I know I can definitely do better than that lol...I ranked like the 300rd spot last time I think.
I believe on the application it self it lists the humanties they will accept. I have found there to be possible descrepencies in that information as well though, so I would probably talk with an advisor
Don't talk to an advisor. Talk to someone in the department. I've been given misinformation several times from the "advisors" at north campus.
The computer automatically picks your best grade for your "humanities" slot. Like I had taken phi2600 and got a b in it. I had to take hum2020 for my AA and got an A. The A replaced my B for philosophy. +4 points.
Now as a question that I had was my math was calculus 1,2,3. I had never taken college algebra. My highest graded calculus class counts but although my calculus class was 4 credit hours, I only get credit on my score sheet for 3 hours since that's what college algebra is. So normally calculus which is a 4 credit with a A so 4*4=16.. it's 4*3 college algebra credit hours and only nets me 12 points. Boo!

Yeah, it might be worth the extra five dollars to do it with the other lady. I'm sorry if that doesn't work out for you.
