FSCJ Fall 2012

Published

Hey everyone!! I just wanted to start a new topic since it doesn't seem there are any discussions yet about anyone who is applying to the Nursing program for Fall 2012. I'm a little nervous right now b/c I will still be enrolled in Micro when I apply. Without Micro I will have a 189. I'm still going to apply (with my fingers crosse) in hoped I get in or even get a call from someone denying. If I end up with at least a B I'll have 201 total points. From what I've read a 201 should be guaranteed but then I'd have to wait until Spring. Fingers crossed a 189 w/o Micro will be enough for Fall! I'm so ready to start this program. Nervous & excited. Any tips/pointers would be greatly appreciated =)

Hello, I found it!!!

Hello Everyone I will be also applying for Fall 2012 once I retake this NAT test I should get in with Over 200 Points(Hopeful).. I took the test Back In early Jan and scored a 75 Because I moved really Slow on the test but this time now that I'm aware of whats on it I plan to boost my score and Submit my Application by June 1. Micro is my last class which I'm currently taking and I should walk away with a B in the class. But good luck too you all:nurse:

I just finished all my pre-reqs. I applied to the summer program..but still had 3 more classes to take, so I knew my points wouldn't be enough. I just wanted to test the waters lol. Hopefully this time I make it

Hi Everyone!! I am a Fall hopeful too...and extremely nervous! I just finished calculating my final score and I have a total of 220.24. I seriously hope this will be enough to get into N/Ws. If not, or if it isn't offered, then I'm going to be so sad-lol. I feel like I've been running a marathon these past few months! Fingers crossed...and toes, legs, arms, eyes ;) Good luck to you all!

I am a fall 2012 hopeful as well. I have a 120 for pre-req points with honors notations on all of my bio sciences. I took the nat and was somewhat ill prepared, because I was swampped with mirco. Needless to say, I did not do so hot and there is not enough time to retake the test before cut off. I have read previously that you need 194 to be competitive and I have a 193.12 so we will see. I am still going to be studying over the summer just in case I need to retake it and apply again. Just wanted to vent a little anxiety and tell everyone good luck!!!

Hi Crystalyn83,

I am so sorry about your NATs...but, you're keeping your head up and staying positive-that is what is important! Micro and the NAT at the same time-yikes! What a trooper you are :yelclap: Hang in there!

Hi everyone. I am aiming for Fall 2012 too. Currently I am set with 197.14 points but I have an appointment to re-take the NAT on Friday. I'm hoping to score a few more points to put me closer to the 200 mark.

I have heard that the cutoff for previous semesters has been from 195 to 197 to 200.....so I have no clue where I stand. My fingers are definitely crossed!!

HONORS??? do they look at honors or is an A an A?? I really don't think honors in pre-req's will get you anymore closer. or does it. somebody correct me if i am wrong. I mean i have heard it all...

I was under the impression that an A is an A regardless of Honors or not as well.

120 points = A's in all pre-reqs. Honors or not...it really just does not matter-lol.

Hi lindsayk728,

Good luck on your NAT! Remember to stay calm and keep up the positivity!! Good vibes are being sent your way :D

I'm turning in my application today! Anyone else getting their's together? I re-took the NAT this morning and scored 7 points higher this time! So excited and so nervous!!
