Hey everyone!! I just wanted to start a new topic since it doesn't seem there are any discussions yet about anyone who is applying to the Nursing program for Fall 2012. I'm a little nervous right now b/c I will still be enrolled in Micro when I apply. Without Micro I will have a 189. I'm still going to apply (with my fingers crosse) in hoped I get in or even get a call from someone denying. If I end up with at least a B I'll have 201 total points. From what I've read a 201 should be guaranteed but then I'd have to wait until Spring. Fingers crossed a 189 w/o Micro will be enough for Fall! I'm so ready to start this program. Nervous & excited. Any tips/pointers would be greatly appreciated =)

I used the Allied Health book and used it to brush up on my math skills. The math is very basic math that you don't think about since you use a calculator in every day life (which you can't use on the test) so I'd suggest brushing up on the math if that isn't your strong suit.

I finished oreintation Tuesday and Im wondering if there is anyone who lives on Westside of Jax near Argyle for study group. I will be in Section 6 with clinicals at BMCS, but I hear that we will all be on same page in reference to lectures and tests. In the past we've gotten together at Panera of Starbucks at 295 and Blanding, but may be able to use my house on Sundays.

Ok, so someone must have given up their seat so I am in! I received the call tonight and I have to meet with Sheryl at the North Campus tomorrow morning! I am excited but also nervous as to what the upfront costs are that everyone is talking about... Can anyone share?
