Okay here we are!!!!!!
I think the prices at Northside Clinic have gone up just a little bit since last term. I have health insurance, but I called for a friend today and priced everything we need done.Physical - $165
MMR - $30
Varicella - $30
Hep B - $25
TDAP booster - $50
Flu vaccine - $25
PPD - $12
Drug screen - $26
Total - $363
The physical is only $40. All of the other prices are correct - - for titers (not for vaccines).
I went to take my drug test today. I don't do drugs at all. However, when I got home, I realized that I had used FDS woman deodorant:uhoh3: spray. It did not dawn on me not to use it because I use it all the time. Im worried now that my sample will come up positive for drugs. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? .............
Hi everyone,I was great to meet new poeple and great to see people I already knew again. It made me feel less nervous! :)

It was great to see you again too, Im. See you on orientation day. :)
Financial aid appeal? On my connections account it says across from POS...Financial Aid approved. However the 150% failed is still on there. I've called FA and keep getting different answers. I plan to stop by the FA office on Thursday when I have time for the long wait. Does anyone else have this?
Thanks!
Anyone that lives in the San Pablo, intercoastal area, I was thinking maybe we should try to sit near each other at orientation and try to bid on same section so we can form study groups and maybe car pool. Let me know if you are interested.
Hi! I have !just joined this thread (although I have been reading it) because I just got the call today! I was 9 seats away, so I guess at least 9 folks didnt accept. I have a lot of catching up to do. I live off Atlantic and San Pablo in Pablo Point (behind Fresh Market). I have a friend in the program now that is staying with me and 2 other of her classmates live in this neighborhood and they carpool. We should try to get the same section/schedule and ride together! She is graduating this semester, so hopefully I can buy her books that she doesnt want and save some $ too.
Hello! Well, I just got the call. I was 177 out of 168, so I guess 9 people have already declined. I was 200.36 points, initial cutoff was 201.24. Talk about close! Now I have a lot of catching up to do this week. Sorry I missed your meeting. I will be picking up my package tomorrow. I have Micro test tonight and now I cannot concentrate! See you all on the 16th!
i guess i can't worry about my drug test. im just going to stay positive. i called the doctor's office and they said i'll be o.k. anyway, i found this on a thread and thought i'd share it with you. for those who have a weakness in math as i do, this will be very helpful.

POS is program of study and just means that you are in a program that is approved for financial aid. the nursing program is 2149
however there are other issues on top of that. the best thing to do is to go to north campus with your acceptance letter to add to your appeal paperwork. North campus should be the only place you go for paperwork and info, stay away from the other campuses, as they don't have anything other than basic info on the nursing program. When I took my acceptance letter to an advisor at North Campus, they approved my 150% appeal on the spot.
