Frustrated New Grad - Update

Thank you so much for all the input and advice on my previous (now closed) topic. Since my post I have been able to schedule some hospital interviews, I have also been offered a part time position in a peds clinic. I just had to get a little more aggressive with my strategies ( E-mailed nurse managers directly) and have gotten very positive results so far. I will update soon if I land a hospital job. Again thank you so much!

I'm a new grad who too, is very frustrated. I moved out here to be with my fiance, not knowing the market was THIS bad. I will need to find your thread...

I was always told NOT to approach hiring managers, but it sounds like we are supposed to?

Why were you told not to approach NM? Also keep an eye out for job fairs.
