Frustrated New Grad FOUND A JOB!!!!!

I finally got a job in Denver, with an ADN , in a hospital, on a peds floor!!!! Exactly the job I wanted!! I am so excited and I cant wait to start this new chapter!!! Persistence pays off so anyone out there looking dont give up!! If I can do it anyone can do it!!

These days THIS is what you need to do! I signed up for a job fair, and HR emailed me back saying I didn't have the one year they required in order to be "invited" to the job fair. I called them back and said oh yes I do....they reviewed my resume and I went to the job fair. I have an interview at a local hospital tomorrow with the NM.

Which hospital? I am just curious who is hiring new grads now.

Not many at all, unless you have a year of direct care RN experience.

Congrats!!! That's really great move, I put off my relocation to Denver last year because I read so posts about having a tough time getting jobs.
