Hi, Is there anyone out there who has applied to the FNP program for Frontier Bound in June? Looking for potential classmates and support while waiting to see if we're accepted. Good luck everyone!
Hello Catrpearl!
Thanks for your imput. I do understand your nervousness and I hope you all get accepted one way or another. Now I'm getting nervous because you are and I'm just the next class....LOL. I have a long ways in finding out my acceptance than most of you....LOL! Anyway, let us know how it went down. God bless to you all!
Omg I'm so anxious and excited right now! I had planned on flying, but driving actually looks much cheaper right now. I'm in Southeast Georgia and will be flying out of Jacksonville...tickets are getting more expensive every time I look. I'm going to try not to think about it until I get accepted to lessen the stress. :)
This is what is on the Pre-Frontier Bound link on the portal about travel for Class 139.
Arrival by Flying to Lexington, KY
If you will be flying into Lexington, please make sure to indicate on your Bound Registration form that you will be meeting the bus at the Lexington Airport for transportation to Hyden. This ensures that you will have a reserved spot on the bus traveling from Lexington to Hyden.
The trip from the airport to the Frontier School in Hyden is approximately a 2 1/2 hour drive. The transportation supplied by FNU is a motor coach bus. There will be a $75 fee for round trip passage. The bus leaves the Lexington Bluegrass Airport at 2:30 PROMPTLY! No exceptions. If flying, please schedule your arrival in Lexington as close to 2:00p.m. (or earlier) as possible. When your flight arrives at the Bluegrass Airport, please check in with the FNU representative. The representative can be found to the right of the baggage claims area, next to the car rental counter. There will also be messages on the LCD's at the airport to let you know where to go.
If you are having difficulty arranging a flight for the first day of bound in time to meet the bus (ex: flying from west coast), you will want to consider flying in a day prior, staying overnight in Lexington, then meeting fellow students the next day at the airport. If you arrive in Lexington the night before, it is best to arrive back at the airport the next day by 12noon to ensure that the FNU Representative has checked you off the list. The bus will leave at 2:30pm.
Arrival by Driving to Hyden, KY
Please plan to arrive at the School between 12noon and 5pm. Please let us know if you will be arriving after 5 p.m.
Departure
Transportation provided by Frontier to the airport will leave Hyden at 8am.
Schedule departure flights no earlier than noon EST. We'd hate for you to miss a flight.
Please note: Frontier Bound activities end at 9PM of the last day. The final day's evening activities are not optional so please do not ask your faculty to allow you to skip these activities. We invite you and encourage you to stay through till the next morning. There is no extra charge and we will feed you breakfast. We would prefer not to have our students traveling on unfamiliar, dark roads late at night. If you live nearby and want to leave at 9pm, that is of course your choice. The bus will leave promptly at 8am the day after Frontier Bound, getting you to the Lexington Bluegrass Airport by about 10:30am. Therefore, to be on the safe side, it would be best to schedule your flights after 12:00pm.

Where did u find this info? Are u already accepted? Thanks for sharing! !
No I haven't heard either. As I stated before, I just finished the Physical Assessment class with Frontier and still have access to the student portal. It is information that is listed under the Pre-Frontier Bound link. It requires you to login with your student email and password. I'm not sure why I still have access. My student profile used to say non-matric out beside where it said Class, but shortly after I submitted my application it changed to CL 139. I assume that the CL stands for "candidate list" or "consideration list", but honestly I have no idea. I have been checking all day in hopes that it will change from CL 139 to just plain old 139, but alas it hasn't. I just wanted to share the information since there was a question about what time they expected us to be there. Hopefully, the information was something that they don't mind me sharing as I felt like it was pretty generic information, but you just never know.
