Frontier Nursing University FNP Class 139

I know that some of the people that applied for that class did get notified last week. They posted it on the Frontier Nursing University Hopefuls Facebook page.

    Frontier Questions

I am just starting, but they tell you at bound that "It's not a race, it's a journey". I had originally planned on doing full-time (Plan A), but decided to go ahead and work so I changed to part-time (Plan B). They say Plan B is actually like the regular program and Plan A is like an accelerated program. It really isn't that much of a time difference and I figure it will give me more time to absorb and understand the material. They tell you to plan for approximately 50 hours a week to study for Plan A and approximately 33 hours for Plan B.

You guys are in my thoughts. That wait is torture. Then you wait for Frontier Bound and then you wait for classes to start. Always waiting. Good luck.

No secure proctor. It is now a system called Proctorio.

Frontier also has classes in real-time that you can chat in, but they are also recorded for those that can't attend because of work or something else.

They might give you an extension since it is so close. Do you have your immunization records? You have to have those and a current physical. Since you are out of town until Saturday, that would be my only concern. BT101 takes a while, but it is doable.

If you do get accepted and you decide to go, then follow the link to the Class 139 Facebook page. I know that there was some people looking to carpool from different areas and some looking at sharing rooms on Sunday night. That might help you. https://m.facebook.com/groups/1600440426907425?ref=bookmark

I don't know about superior, but it was my first choice. If memory serves me correct, it was your's as well. It would be hard for me to decide. How much have you already paid to Simmons? The Frontier Bound fees are around $750.00. I would look at it this way. What about Frontier makes it your first choice? Are you going to look back and regret not going if you turn it down? Ultimately only you can decide what is best for you, but we would love to have you in our class.

The money for Frontier Bound was due by the 29th. Maybe they couldn't come up with it. I know it isn't covered by financial aid.

Actually they notify you 6-8 weeks before Frontier Bound. My class was an exception and was notified at 5 weeks, but on the Class 139 thread, we actually calculated how far out from bound several of the previous classes had found out and it was consistently in the 6-8 week time frame. We have had a few accepted already off of the wait list.
