Frontier Nursing University FNP Class 139

Published

Hi, Is there anyone out there who has applied to the FNP program for Frontier Bound in June? Looking for potential classmates and support while waiting to see if we're accepted. Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone! I have also applied to class 139 for cnm. Hoping to do part time, I work full time currently. So excited/nervous to hear about acceptance!

The thought of only a few more hours makes me excited and nervous at the same time. I checked flight prices today; mercy they are high. The lowest I could find was $800.00. I guess I will probably have to drive.

Mommy2anangel where are you located? I'm in Pennsylvania and have been back and forth on if I will drive or fly. I found some flights for about 400. But still think the drive would be cheaper. It looks like a 10 he srive

I'm in Oklahoma. It is a 12 hour drive for me. Definitely cheaper for me to drive. I just cannot justify $400.00 each way on top of the fees for Frontier Bound.

Same here. Can't wait to find out to finalize all the plans!

Did you check Expedia for tickets? Looks like flights out of okc are about the same as for philly... 350. Round trip! Don't know what part of Oklahoma you're in...

No, I didn't. I will check right now. Thank you.

Hello Everyone...I'm excited for you. I had applied for FNP class 140. When you get accepted...let me know how your in bound process went as well as your acceptance. However, I just wondering has anyone heard of anyone getting accepted with a slight lower GPA, but excellent essays and good job experiences?

Hi everyone! I think this will be the week we find out.., I just have a feeling! Nervous, very nervous. Trying to not look at my email every 15 minutes. I read some of the threads about airline tickets... I'll be driving. I think for me it's a 7-8 hour drive. Not too bad, but I have to wonder whether they expect us in the evening or first thing in the am. I think I'm getting ahead of myself. I have to get accepted 1st :arghh:, the wait is driving me crazy!

Hi Sxyreesa,

I wonder the same thing. I have no clue how they decide. As for me, my GPA is good, but my resume shows I jumped around a lot with my jobs, and my references weren't that great. Not that I'm not a good employee, but it was hard to find managers who still worked at my past places because turnover is so quick around here. Also, I haven't been at my current job very long and didn't think using that manager would carry much weight since she's only known me for a few months. I think my essays were good, I spent a lot of time on them. Good Luck! Maybe we'll find out this week!

Does anyone know how many hours is full-time?
