friend taken nclex-rn 8 times

I need advice.

I have a friend from work who is such a sweetheart. She is a nurse from Cuba, she has been here 7 years, and has taken the exam nclex-rn 8 times.

I promised her that once I passed I would help her with the test in anyway I can.

After I passed, I texted her about my notes and book, but she never responded. I saw her today, and she told me she was interested.

I am gonna give her my book, my notes, and my helen feuer cd's, my lippincott & other books to help her pass.

what else can I do?

I know what it is like to persevere and not give up on your dreams. but that test is really hard. 8 times is pretty tough, all the money, time and stress.......

anyone fail the test so many times and passed it after a few times?

the people that I know that failed it, passed the 2nd time.

When they trained in another country, using that many sources usually does not work.

Prefer that they focus on only one source to make sure that they understand what the exam is looking for in an answer.

I will be more than happy to help her but she will need to contact me directly.

Ive heard great things about Suzane's Plan and I was considering doing it if I failed this time. I was trained in Puerto Rico and I failed the first time but I took Kaplan and passed the second time with 130 questions. I found the Kaplan practice questions VERY similar to those in the NCLEX. The only bad thing is that it costs almost $500. I would try Suzanes plan first than investing so much money on anything else.
