Stars your SIL had a good point there.  It hasn't been that long and you've had a lot to do.  It's good that she and your BIL can give you some respite care

Work ended up being busy towards the end of the day, although not too bad, was easier in the morning.  Today will likely be busy as well, although hopefully it'll be quieter in the afternoon

Was in a strange, almost manic mood after work, not sure why.  Seemed to fade by bedtime.  In the past that would have meant a migraine, but so far nothing

I did get a fair amount done after work, stopped by the grocery store and library, did some cleaning and exercised and worked on  the dating apps, so I guess that touch of mania proved helpful

Tonight I have little planned, except for exercise a bit more dating app work.

Going to be cooler today, only up to 50, then cooler during the night with some snow  expected

Good morning.

Joe, your weather sounds like ours. Our temps are mild, but snow may come in a few days. This morning was quite foggy, perhaps we'll get a sun break this afternoon.

Stars, I think you SiL is a very perceptive person. I am glad she is taking on some of the sorting and discard. That shouldn't be all up to you. I find when I'm procrastinating, I'll just set a timer for 20-30 minutes and do an avoided task. I feel more motivated when I know there is a limit.

I got a pedicure yesterday. We have been shutting the dogs in one of the bathrooms while we're gone, but I left them out because I was only going to be gone for an hour. They managed to chew a piece out of the window sill in the living room. It's MDF, so it just sort of crumbled. I am going to ask the builder next week if he can repair it. Grr.

As predicted, dh forgot my birthday. Sis sent me flowers, and he realized when he saw the card. Sigh. We had a nice time in Seattle, so I will call that my gift.

I need to get moving. I have yard cleanup to do, and I am going to pack up at least 2 boxes of stuff out of the room that the builder is going to work in next week. And I will take the devil dogs for a walk.

Afternoon, and a very sleepy, groggy one at that! I was dead to the world until 1 PM, which is time to get Nannie up. Last night she didn't want to go to bed at 10 PM so once again I left her in the chair and went up to bed myself. Have no idea when she turned in.

The skies are gray, but no rain as yet. Going to get up to 65 (really?) but it is only 58 degrees right now. Did the Nannie 'getting-up' routine; she's in the recliner and had her breakfast and meds and already has her eyes closed again. I am waiting for my coffee to kick in, as I am still fuzzy-brained. Momo peed on the pad on the sofa and has not approached her breakfast. I changed the pad on the sofa, and now she is curled up in her little round bed, beside me.

I'm not sure what I need to do today,  or what I want to do. Mostly, right now, I have to finish waking up.

Once again the weather folks are wrong.....it is NOT raining, because the sun is shining and there are very few clouds. I think I live in "Opposite Land"..... or the forecasters are!

Perhaps it's a parallel universe???  ?

Happy Birthday, J22!

Today was a lost day. Lost to N/V/D, stomach pain, and fever. Hoping tomorrow is better. But the boys are just starting to show symptoms, too.
