Good morning!
I can't believe the cold that is happening up north. Out of my concept of reality.
It's 72 here but not supposed to warm up much and it's cloudy and will rain.
Doing laundry and this will be my last batch until the repairman comes on Monday the 13th if I can make it because it shakes so bad during washing. I washed some sheets and it didn't do it, but washed some regular clothes and towels and it shook violently. And my refrigerator is leaking again.
One day off so will do some chores and go to the gym. Nothing fun.
Good morning!
Tweety, it's always something, innit?? I need to get the washer and dryer serviced, they haven't had any maintenance for a long time. Dh and I will take the RV to get it serviced today, pre-festivals. Make sure everything works well.
Not much else planned for today.
Joe, I always found it difficult, dealing with those types of angry encounters. Upsetting to me. Had to try to separate my emotions from the situation (which was hard to do) and look at finding a solution. Bless you! Hope today is less exciting.
Have a good day!
Sitting at work, sort of half listening to coworkers discussing the electronic record. I could make some patient calls, but they were just called on Wednesday, and I don't want to feel pesky. I think after a letter and a call, I can give people a few days. The weather is mild, there is a strong wind advisory forecast but it hasn't started yet.
I was shocked at the wait and price of my dryer repair last year. I guess I was luck it could be repaired.
I started my gardening homework last night. I ended up drawing a picture of a flower and all the parts so I could get the vocabulary right. And I did the quiz, luckily it was open book, LOL. Dh noticed the bird seed was disappearing fast, and then saw Bambi and his buds chowing down. Our little 25 lb Boston terrier ran them off.
Another Friday. The days just whip by, don't they?
It is somewhere in the 40's, very sunny and chilly.
Got Nannie up, dressed, and fed her meds and yogurt.
Hubby's pedal edema was not as pronounced last night; haven't seen his feet yet today.
When I was in nsg sch I went to the extra classroom and drew an inner kidney in colored chalks, so folks who studied in that room could refer to it. It was because when I was studying the kidneys, how they worked suddenly all fell into place in my mind, so I thought I'd share it.
Hubby just came in from the Ford, and he is up in the kitchen. Don't know his "condition" yet, but he HAS BEEN easing up on his booze intake. Hope it is the same today....
I don't know about calling that rehab place; I could. I guess I'll have to. Blah.
Maybe back later, I don't know....
One hour prior to The Supper Question now, and of course, the nappers are both snoring from their recliners. And even though the "heat-pump" thermostat has been jacked up to 72, it is still chilly down here in the den; my fingers often get cold while I am on the laptop. Isn't this fascinating?
I think there are some things I was going to put on the list in my 'brain', but I'll be derned if I can think of what they are. I'll probably remember later on when I say, "Oh! I SHOULD HAVE gone out to get ______" (whatever). // There was a sports coach back in the late 1990's or early 2000's.....who, when his team lost, would exclaim, "Pizz on it!", only with the S's intact in that word. I guess it was shockingly funny at the time. But that's kinda how *I* feel about my daily domesticity. Not that I want to be an afternoon napper, either, but Sheesh! It's funny how life can be so boring and yet stressful at the same time.
I am NOT going to do anything useful or helpful today. Pizz on it!
Yep sometimes you have to say pizz (my spellcheck wants to change it to pizza) on it.
Great pics of the dears.
Deaf blind dog is outside. It amazes me that he makes it to the back of the house out the doggie door, but memory I suppose. They've been fed and are happy.
I have to wait over two weeks for an appointment for the washer, and I was able to get an appointment for the refrigerator for this Monday.
I still use the "Out of Milk" app on my phone for my grocery list. I've gotten good at adding things as I think about it or I use them up in the kitchen. Since I pay for my groceries with my phone, I always have my list. But sometimes ADD kicks in and I look at the list in the store and say "I have to get dog food now" and then I get distracted and check out without the dog food.
I learned by memory and repetition rather than making pictures. Still forgot it, and sometimes read an X-ray report and scratch my head as to what bone is broken if it's not the obvious big ones.
Was sort of productive in that I went to the gym, did laundry, shopping and made some hummus. Having leftover pasta for dinner. Air fried some "shishito peppers" that I got at Trader Joes on sale. Going to have dinner and pizz the night away from now on.
We dropped the RV off to get its servicing. It will be there about two weeks. Then we had lunch at a Greek restaurant, it was very good! Met some friends there (who live nearby), and had a nice visit.
We texted with our bassist and set up a date for us and fiddler to go to his studio, so fiddler can do the fiddle additions to P's project.
Stopped by oldest ds's on our way home, to drop off a gyro from the Greek restaurant. He works tonight, will eat it on his break (at least he doesn't have to cook). Had a nice, if short, chat with him.
Dh has just been on the phone with a lady who saw the band playing at the Apple Valley Museum, and she would like us to play for their organization, an area historical organization. This would be in April. So far I think we can do it. ?
So, not much else planned. So far it will be a quiet weekend,
Have a good evening!

NJ22 thanks for sharing the pictures
Stars that is irritating that they don't respond, and that your dh doesn't listen when it comes to his health
Ado glad to hear about the engagement. Stepdaughter may need to contact the authorities, he may need an involuntary commitment
Tweety I think a lot of people are having problems with budgets given inflation
Dianah so far I have not made any adjustments for inflation
Was hoping for an easier day yesterday, but had 2 long calls with 2 irritable patients, and caused some confusion by presenting some out of date information. Errors happens but they really bug me. Still had a little time at the end of the day to help others. Was a half Xanax sort of day. Hope today is better
Had to go back to Hallmark and get the right envelope for my nephew's card, and then had an online meeting for evangelism for church. Decided to skip exercise as I was worn out
Tonight nothing going on after work, will do my usual bubble bath and white Russian
Will only get up to 11 today but later Saturday will be in the upper 30s
