NJ22 thanks for the dog pictures

Dianah that reminds me, I probably have some old clothes I can get rid of

Stars I hope she finally settled down.

Was a pretty good day at work yesterday, nothing unexpected.  After work was fairly quiet too, just exercised and ran an errand or two.  And started watching the opera Cosi Fan Tutte

Today have to stop for coffee and do a little more packing and then I'll be off to Rockford.  Should be less than an hour and a half, so I'm in no rush.  Have a list of things to see there and a bit of a schedule too.

Weather should cooperate, will be in the upper 40s today and the lower 50s tomorrow.  The rain we've had for the last few days is finally gone

Good morning!

Joe, hope you have a good enjoyable trip.

J22, what cute babies.

Sorry I didn't post the last couple of days.  Not much to say and I've been in a foul mood.  Work has been busy and working overtime to make up for the $1000 I spent on keys an Uber compounded it.  What compounded it even further is I found my keys Wednesday afternoon in my work satchel.  Never mind I emptied it about 3 times looking for the keys, never mind that I worked Monday and was in that bag getting things all day, never mind that Wednesday morning I was in the bag getting out my stethoscope and pens and later I went back for my scissors.  That afternoon I went back in it yet again for a pen because it was closer than my portable computer down the hallway and there the keys were in plain site easy to see.  I threw it away as it's deactivated and physically got ill.  I just can't.....

One day off before working the weekend.  Have sheets in the wash and will go to the gym.  Have lunches for the weekend made and plenty of spaghetti to last me three or more dinners.

Have a great day.

Yesterday must've been the day from FOUL moods. I was ready to spit and yell last night, in spite of having taken a 1/2 Xanax.

So this morning, I went into Nannie's room and there she was, sitting on the side of her bed, no pants, no pull-ups on her bottom, no underpads on the bed. She had put 4 jersey tops on and had a 5th one wrapped around her shoulders. There were 2 wet pads 'hiding', stuffed in her collection of socks. The pull-up was in the washer and her pants (wet) were wadded in a knot half-way under the bed. Every day is a new day!

She's dozing and will probably be c/o her right neck and shoulder hurting in a while, because her head tips over to the right side. No combo of sm pillows or rolled towels or rolled pillowcases helps, as the pressure of her heavy head just pushes whatever I try to use, right down onto the tight muscle. Maybe I could use a bungee cord wrapped around her forehead and joined In the back of the head of the chair? Naw, wouldn't work and she'd c/o the pressure on her forehead. Oh well! Me and my ideas.

It is just past 3 PM and I am HUNGRY! I also am still quite tired and feeling a bit bummed out. Tomorrow SiL is coming over. Don't know if we will double-team on that larger upstairs bedroom, but it might be a good idea, and it would be easier than just me doing it. I HAVE cleaned some things out of there, but don't quite know what to do about the heaps of junk and pillows and who-knows-what on the bed and dresser....SiL is good at making executive decisions on what to throw away.

I gotta go up and put something in my stomach; might help perk me up.

PS: j22, cute photo of your adorable little 'monsters'! 😉 They look soooo innocent!

Just a few T-shirts for more than a few of us:

* At NIGHT I can't fall ASLEEP. In the morning I can't GET UP!

* My boss told me to "have a good day," so I went home.

* LAUNDRY SCHEDULE:   Wash  40 minutes // Dry 60 minutes // Put Away 7-10 business days.

My little devil dogs finally got their baths. And they were none too happy about it. At least with short hair it is a quick dry. We went to run some errands: I got some new inserts for my running sneaks; we got a little 2 drawer filling cabinet so we can down size from the monster one we have now; stopped and had sub sammies for lunch; then to the feed store for dog food. I played phone tag with a doctor's office, but finally just sent a message through the portal that seemed to satisfy the pacemaker tech. I like the doc, but the clinic staff seem a little scattered. And I hate, hate, hate talking on the phone.

Stars, you have the patience of a saint. I get grumpy cleaning up behind a 20# dog, I don't think I would do well with a grown woman. Although, I used to be the dementia whisperer when I worked.

Tweety, try not to beat yourself up. We all do it! My object to lose is my phone, and I've done it in New Orleans and Washington DC. And I drowned one at Disneyland.

Have fun on your trip, Joe!

It's mild and overcast. I did get out to pull a few weeds. This time of the year I set a goal of 2 buckets a day. I got half way there, but I'll do 3 tomorrow (sure I will, LOL.)
