Hey guys, for those of you that had gotten selected before knowing your results in the previous lotto, was your evaluation status still pending or was it completed? I'm nervous because I applied for radiology and I was unselected because my application did not get evaluated and I'm scared that it will be the same for my RN program

You are very patient. Why you didn't apply to private school? When you finished than you could pay back little by little

At the time it wasn't feasible my kids were toddlers back then and no family, so I needed a schedule like the normal semesters. Then Covid hit.

I wish you get you dream, and and get into RN program. 

I don't know how it is true but I heard FCC gives you 5 years to get into program after that you need to pass requirem classes again, I can be wrong but I heard that from my friend

I'm applying first time, and honestly if you didn't get all 5th times it would be no fair towards others if we would selected who applying the first time compare with those who 3rd and 5 th times

Its 6 oclock now, Congrats to all of those in here who has been selected! Mine still says pending even after 6.

Unfortunately that's just how it goes... I've been in these forums with Barbie1181 and I'm in the same boat as her. FCC changes the way the lottery is pulled every year and they don't care how many times we've been thru all this stress. FCC is the only feasible option for me as well yet year after year I see people get accepted on their first or second try and get into multiple programs but choose to take a seat at FCC. While there are ppl like Barbie1181 and myself that keep our fingers crossed for this ONE program. This is definitely my last year dealing with it because I'm not going to pay to take the new TEAS or retake prerequisites. I've already started a career path change that is going well.

This is my 3rd time applying. I've contacted the school about my application, and I found out a different coordinator is in charge of the pulls this year. I'm hoping my unchanging "pending" status is just a simple delay and not a bad omen. Wishing everyone the best of luck!

I wish everyone that applied got a link to these forums so we could do polls and know more of how many have changed and such LOL instead of it just being a few in different groups on here and facebook 

 

im also still pending and it's almost 6:20 

I'm preparing for no change until tomorrow and being unselected for my final time ?

For those who were unselected what are your future plans? Will you wait another year or apply to private? I am considering private as I would finish the same time as those who were selected Spring. Money is obviously a factor, but I'm willing to risk it knowing I'll work very hard to pay it off.

Did you get unselected yet?? Or are you assuming since it's still pending ??

this was my final year applying and since I have to retake the TEAS to be eligible again I decided to change career paths. I've been tattooing for a  little bit now so I'm just going to apply myself there and hopefully get into a shop. I explored private schools at sjvc and gurnick but neither seemed like a logical option for me.
