Fresno City RN Applicants 23/24

Hey guys, for those of you that had gotten selected before knowing your results in the previous lotto, was your evaluation status still pending or was it completed? I'm nervous because I applied for radiology and I was unselected because my application did not get evaluated and I'm scared that it will be the same for my RN program

I didn't get selected last year and mine showed pending all the way through the lottery closing. I just checked mine for this year and it went from pending to "eligible" is that what yours shows as well??

It's hard to know because it's been different every year. Mines always said pending and I've never been selected. The only time mine switched to eligible before going to unselected was 4 years ago (my first time applying) and it changed the day of the lottery. Mine is currently pending but I've heard several people have been changed to eligible for a few weeks so I'm just gunna go ahead and prepare for disappointment once again.

Mine still says pending sadly..it's my first year applying so I'm not expecting to get in at all this year

Wow four years?! I can't imagine myself waiting for that long. I really hope we get in this year, fingers crossed!

Oh there's people I've met in these forums that didn't get in till their 7th try! But trying to keep an optimistic mind.. at least they got in. But this is my last year trying because I don't want to retake the TEAS and it won't make much difference for me point wise. If anything it'd be worse all these years later I've forgotten a lot.

Do you remember the selection process the first year you applied when it said eligible and then unselected? Like was it all lottery or was it like this year where it's rank and lottery? And thank you ? hopefully it's a good sign but I won't hold my breath. Good luck to you as well!

Mine still says pending ? Hoping mine will change to eligible the day of the lottery. I've emailed and called multiple times and they said everything is still under evaluation and to wait until results are posted. But from previous results my hopes are low but still trying to think positive. I wish they changed evaluation status the day of, IDK why they do it a week before ?

First year I applied it was not merit based in any way. Just lottery and the MCS. They have done the lottery differently tho every year I've applied. Just in the way they post results. Last year they only reviewed applications for eligibility if they were selected. The year before they reviewed everything and then pulled the lottery. It's confusing every year. a couple years ago the unselected got error messages when checking the lottery and only the selected could get thru... it was really messed up.

You guys should go check! I just checked again for the billionth time today and it says selected for Spring! There is nowhere to "accept" my placement though so I'm not sure if they will make that available tomorrow when they do the lottery?
