I think it does depend on the schools. This is what I found on COS. They still accept the 6 until next year's July 2023 Application. So yes check the school you plan to apply to.

Yeah it will depend on the school Merced posted that it will only take the 7 next year

Right, but if we are applying to FCC next year we would have to take it.

Did FCC post this anywhere that they require the TEAS 7 starting Jan 2023?

Not yet, but a counselor said we have too.

You know this is not fair a lot of us have worked so hard to pass TEAS and pre-req and now comes to the point that we have to retakes TEAS ?I was going to retakes TEAS to get a hire score but there is no point if I don’t get in with version 6 you know

I agree. It's devastating. I'm lost for words. If you plan to retake it for a higher score, just wait for the 7 to come out, study and take that version.

I am calling around tomorrow and see if I could speak with someone regarding that will keep in touch I need to make sure what my next move is going to be because to be honest I was looking at national but the counselor was very straightforward she was like it’s not even a guarantee here either ?

Yes, please update us. If they do require the version 7 in January 2023's application then it would be nice for us to know that way we can study and get it taken before applications reopen. Thanks.

I’m afraid of the new format of TEAS. In general I hate tests.

I emailed yesterday. I would double check with other counselors but it seems to be that we may use our scores one last year.
