Amen girl! I have orientation for COS next Wednesday for their RN program start this fall but I’m gonna give up my seat because I have 3 kids! One of which is a newborn so…. I’m only doing the 3 hour orientation to know what I’m getting into. I want insider insight so I’ll know how to juggle the rigors of RN school with 3 kids WHEN the time is right. In the meantime I’ll just nerd out learning cooking techniques and expanding on my relationship skills LOL

IDK if this can change your mind but several people in my cohort have kids, in fact I’m in the minority being single, no kids.
Keep your chin up. I’ve waited for many years to get in a program too. 2020 year I decided to do LVN through private school and I don’t regret it at all I learned and got my license. This year I threw in my application for the heck of it, didn’t expect to get in again but, I finally get selected to FCC. So my point is that it’ll happen when you least expect it. I would suggest try going for your LVN in the meantime.

I felt like this last year too, but this year I told myself if I get in great, if not then it just wasn’t meant to be. In the meantime I’m just working part time enjoying my time when the kids are at school. We will eventually get in one year.

Congrats on getting in this time. Did you apply for the LVN to RN program as well at FCC? Do you know if that program is lottery as well and do you have any idea if it's easier to get in through LVN to RN? Thanks.
