Does anyone know of any nursing state/ government organizations I can join and grow in?
I'm on a budget so free ones and also ones that are top shelf evidenced based research organizations I can grow with.
Thank you

"Free" is gonna be a disqualifier. Expect to spend around $150-200/ year to join an organization in your specialty area. When you do, the benefits will include (for the most part) CE activities, a journal or two, and networking opportunities.
I belong to ANA, NLN and AACN.

It's not a nursing organization like the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN) but signing up for access to certain reputable and free online educational resources such as Medscape can help support educational and professional growth while working towards figuring out the best organization to join and how you're gonna pay for it.

"You get what you pay for," is true to a large extent. An organization that is free doesn't have any resources. So it is unable to provide meaningful services to its members. If you want to get meaningful benefit from the organization, someone has to produce those benefits -- and that production costs money. If the members are contributing money to help pay for the services provided, then who is paying for it?
Some "free" organizations are not actually professional associations at all -- just groups financially backed by a company trying to sell stuff to nurses.

Nothing decent is free. I find belonging to my orgs "worth it." I belong to ANA, TNA, STTI, AACN, APNA, AAMN.
Also, what do you want to get out of it? I may be able to recommend free things that accomplish that, but require more effort on your part.
