Frankford Hospital or Aria Health School of Nursing

Published

Hi I just took the TEAS for Frankford Hospital School of Nursing today and got an 81. I would've gotten around a 90 except I got a 50 on the science section. Is that really important? I'm appling for January 2010. I hear on your application checklist, they let you know what tier you're in, but I can't find it on mine! Can anyone else find what tier they are in? Also, has anyone gotten accepted yet? What is your GPA like or other credentials? I really want to know where I stand! I'm going insane waiting to hear back!!

your friend who was denied, was it posted on thier online checklist?

Someone has to know something by now, right? Anyone?

i've been checking today too. still got nothing. i don't really know anyone else who has applied, so i haven't heard anything about denials yet. from what it sounds like, they've been really busy trying to keep up with the whole process so i bet they're pretty behind. especially if they're short staffed.

does anyone know how many people are tier 1?

i have no idea how many are in tier 1. has anyone been accepted yet?! if so, what tier were you in? this is killing me!!

So mine still says tier 2...I think that the people who were straight denied found out they were not accepted because they we just denied and not even assigned a tier... When are the letters going out??? This is craziness!!!

You know what, this is just cruel...initially Aimee siad we would know Mon, it's Wed! I guess they're trying to find more teachers so they can take the full sixty. If that is the case, she said that all tier 1 and tier 2 would get in...Keep your fingers crossed. I've decided I'm not going to check until tomorrow, since that was when we were originally supposed to find out, hopefully it will be up by then...Good luck everyone.

Yes, Good luck everyone-I still have no tier even- so I have no clue what to expect!

Hey everyone...I know that you are all anxiously awaiting a decision as I would be too. Unfortunately due to some unforeseen circumstances the decisions have been delayed. I have been sick all week and due to our H1N1 policies am required to stay out of work for one week. I am the only person in the admissions office at Aria therefore this is causing the delay in processing. This is not something that I want to do. I am working with the administrators to see if I can at least get your statuses updated while at home so you can get your decision on your checklist.

This has nothing to do with staffing but I am still waiting for that final number from administrators that I can admit. If I hear anything I will post back here. However, please do not message me regarding, tiers, your status etc since I am not feeling well and am doing my best to work on this. Since this was such a very competitive applicant pool just b/c you are a 2 does not guarantee that you are accepted and you will find out in the coming days.

Thank you for your patience,

Aimee

Thank you so much Aimee for your letter to everyone, I'm sure our stress has been your stress also!

At this point I can just hope for the best and finally finish my dream! Thanks for your time!

I hope you feel better soon:)

I am currently updating your statuses so please check your online checklist in the next hour or so for our decision. I will be back in the office on Tuesday if you would like to call me with any questions. Physical decision letters/packets will be sent out next week. Thank you again for your understanding during this process.

Aimee
