Interview today was great. I showed up a little early just because I was nervous about being late even had a nightmare about it last night LOL. But it was beneficial to show up early because they had some of their current students in the sim lab answering questions and just chatting with people. It made me feel a lot less nervous to be around other students before the interview. The interview itself wasn’t too bad. They definitely give you the option to drive the interview but will ask follow up questions. I think it’s been posted before but be prepared if you’re going to talk about a type of patient population you take care of that they’re going to ask progressively more difficult physiology questions until you feel backed into a corner. But one of the other students told me they just really want you to say you finally don’t know some thing instead of trying to make up an answer. They were very friendly all around and ask some personal questions about why you chose this field and how you have financially prepared. They did a pretty heavy review of my résumé and asked a little questions here and there about my experiences. All of them were very nice and made me feel less nervous than some zoom interviews I’ve had. 

How did everyone else feel about their interviews? They told me they will be interviewing out through the 26th and then they will start sending out acceptances.

That's awesome! I am so glad you had such a great experience. I had my interview today as well, and it was nice talking with current students... I hope decisions don't take too long to come in ... I'm already so nervous/anxious to find out!

I totally posted in the wrong FranU forum when I was trying to wish you guys good luck LOL! I’m glad y’all had good interviews. I’m still so nervous. I’ll let you guys know how mine goes.

Just finished my interview. I felt it went well as well they are super friendly and their best not to make you feel nervous! My interview was mainly personal with only a few clinical questions that I essentially had to lead them to (what’s your patient population, describe the patho, what drips, describe MoA).

That’s awesome that you feel good about it! Did you ever get to the point in the interview where they asked you a question and you had to say you didn’t know? A lot of people say they ask you questions until you say you don’t know… but I didn’t experience that which now has me wondering if I rambled too long on a topic and they didn’t get to ask enough questions or if my answers were too vague or if they were enough to meet their expectation… ahh now I’m going through all my answers in my head over and over… the waiting game is the worst! ?

I got there pretty fast LOL!! We don’t have too long to wait. I believe they said we’ll know the first week in September right? How much of yours was clinical and how long was your interview?

They told me two weeks after the last interview which is next Friday… mine was about half and half personal/emotional intelligence and clinical . My interview lasted just about 40 minutes. How about you? How many personal and clinical questions and how long was yours?

Mine was about 20 minutes! 90% personal/IE and 10% clinical (driven by me). Look at us making each other nervous ?

OMG ? I don’t even know what to think now LOL. I hope the best for the both of us.. we might have been interviewed by different people though … who interviewed you?
