Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

This worked in Florida after my CNA test and my Nclex-PN test. Why pay $8 for nothing. In Florida, they post your license pretty quickly online. Do not pay for expedited results. I just did a licensure search under my name on thursday after taking the test on tuesday. And, there was my LPN license. Try a licensure lookup for yourself before you pay extra. It may work in other states, too.

Congrats! :)

We typically do tell test-takers this, but unfortunately there is SUCH a wide range of website options that various BONs use that the general "go to" is the Quick Results. Some States do updates daily or nearly daily; most do them in a week or two's time, sometimes three or more. California, even MORE unfortunately, not only does not participate in Quick Results but is one of the very slowest when it comes to updating their website.

People have been so anxious to find results fast that they've tossed out $200 with the goofy PVT; I doubt $8 is much of a disincentive ;)

You can never tell with California. I took min on a tuesday, and it showed up the next wednesday. My classmate took it the day after I did but hers showed up 2 days later. Another classmate took 3 weeks. Its bananas and its torture.

I'm in California and I took my NCLEX-RN on a Tuesday and my license showed up that Wednesday night... about 35 hours after I walked out of the PV testing center. One classmate, and possibly two, had the same thing happen as we took the NCLEX at the same time. One I know for certain got her license at the same time I did. Other classmates had to wait more than 10 days... you just can never tell with California.

Did you just google your name and it came up?

You have to go to your state health website that manages licenses. Google Your state board of nursing "RN license verification"

In florida You can also see pass or fail before 48 hours by going to the provider services website and check exam results here:
